Orphan Hosting

Hosting is a life-changing summer and/or winter event where an orphaned child is welcomed into an American family’s home for the holidays. Hosting is typically 4-6 weeks long, depending on the season.

Children that participate in our host programs are between the ages of 5-15 years old. In their home countries they live in orphanages, foster homes, or with a grandparent.

Our aim is to reach beyond a short vacation for these amazing children and to make a lasting impact on their lives. Some of these children have never had, or were too little to remember, a normal family life. Hosting shows them what family is all about and what it is like to be loved and cared for, without conditions.

The children learn English and are introduced to a new culture. Through hosting we endeavor to change the trajectory of their lives.

Our Africa host programs will also focus on the host family and group positively impacting the child’s village on return to their home country. This might be through things like sponsoring the digging of a well, buying livestock for the village, or other similar projects.
