Luda

Luda enjoys playing Monopoly and basketball. If she was given money she would buy a house and then presents for her friends director and teachers. She really enjoys eating any type of sweet, but does not care for milk. Her favorite colors are black and white and her favorite animals are fish cats and dogs. When she grows up she dreams of being a make up artist and if that doesn’t work out she like to be a nanny at an orphanage. When asked if she liked school she said it was OK. Her favorite subject is PE and she loves to play basketball. She would like to ride a roller coaster when she gets to America. Luda is a bit shy and reserved. She seemed a little unsure on how to answer the questions maybe because she was afraid she’d answer wrong and not get the opportunity to come to America. Her family will need to be patient with her and give her time to warm up.

Director notes on Luda

Luda has one sister who is still with her father. Her mom had custody of them and she passed away. Upon her death their dad came and picked up both of the girls. He sent Luda back to the orphanage. He then got sick and was hospitalized and both girls were in the orphanage. He came back to pick them up, but only picked up the younger sister and left Luda. Luda has called him and reached out to him and asked him to come get her but he has refused. Dad says he is deprived of rights and cannot take her. b Oksana will call the court to see if she can get the official decision as to whether fathers rights are deprived. When she has the decision of the court, she will then know if she’s available to come for hosting.  Since little sister lives with dad, if dad is deprived Luda would be a single adoption.
